Banana Bread With Cinnamon Brown Sugar

This recipe calls for five overripe bananas, but if you only have three or four (or maybe you have six!) that is great as well, don’t let whatever you have go to waste. Whip up this amazingly simple Banana Bread with Cinnamon Brown Sugar and top with a sprinkle of sugar, or if you’re feeling fancy – sprinkle with coarse baking sugar, and enjoy!

Here Is How To Make It

  • Preheat the oven to 350°. Spray a 9×5 inch-loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray, or grease with butter and set aside.
  • Mash overripe bananas together and set aside.
  • In a medium size mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Add the mashed bananas, egg, vanilla, cinnamon and milk, mix well.
  • To the wet mixture, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth. Pour into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the top with coarse sugar. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out fairly clean.
