Increase the heat to medium and add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, fresh parsley, garlic powder, garlic salt, Italian seasonings, bay leaves, red pepper flakes, and sugar. Mix well and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for one hour. Stir often and add salt and pepper as needed. Once complete remove and discard bay leaves.
Serve over prepared spaghetti noodles and enjoy!
