- 2 cans (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- ¼ cup fresh flat leaf Italian parsley, chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 2 dried bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
- 1 teaspoon sugar (more or less to taste)
- coarse salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 16 oz Spaghetti, cooked

Add the white wine, increase the heat and bring to a boil, stir well, then lower heat and rapidly simmer until white wine is reduced by half.
Increase the heat to medium and add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, fresh parsley, garlic powder, garlic salt, Italian seasonings, bay leaves, red pepper flakes, and sugar.
